Faculty and Staff

The ISE has both national and International faculty, all of whom are screened by the academic committee. The ISE is currently conducting an international search to attract leading scholars in the fields of economics and finance as it moves into its fourth year of operation.

World Class Teaching Professionals at Your Disposal

ISE professors and staff are here to help you as a student to find your way. You will have the opportunity to consult with your professors before, during or after classes as well as during office hours. You can consult the ISE staff (the dean and his team) whenever you want. We have an open door policy.

As a student, you will receive information and communicate with the faculty in the following ways:

  • Student meetings: the ISE staff will organise student meetings to provide you with news and information and to get your feedback.
  • Intranet: all the information you need for your studies is available on the KBTU Intranet. You'll receive a personal log-in name and password. The Intranet is the main tool you will use to register yourself for courses and examinations and to find the results of your examinations. You will also find syllabi and course materials on the Intranet.
  • Student advisors: the ISE professors are there to advise you on how to study, to monitor your progress and provide you with advice on how to improve. Please check the list of student advisors at the ISE office to find out which professor is your advisor
  • Interviews: once a year, the dean will interview all students individually to discuss your progress.
  • Evaluations: after each semester, you will be asked to fill in an evaluation form to evaluate the professors and the courses, as well as ISE in general.
